Is There a Fazoli's in Airdrie?
Fazoli's Italian restaurant officially opened at Kingsview Market in Airdrie in May 2026, making it the chain's third Canadian location. The other two are in Calgary and Okotoks. Fazoli's operates over 200 restaurants across the United States and is known for its fast-casual Italian menu — pasta, baked dishes, sandwiches, and complimentary unlimited breadsticks.

Airdrie just got a new Italian dining option — and if you've been watching the northwest part of the city fill in, this one makes a lot of sense.
Fazoli's opened this week at Kingsview Market, becoming the chain's third Canadian location. The other two are in Calgary and Okotoks, so Airdrie now has its own.
If you're not familiar with Fazoli's, here's the short version: it's a fast-casual Italian chain with over 200 locations across the United States. The menu covers pasta dishes, baked pasta, sandwiches, and salads — and the thing most people associate with the brand, complimentary unlimited breadsticks served to your table.
The price point is family-friendly, service is quick, and it fills a gap in Airdrie's dining scene that hasn't had a fast-casual Italian option until now.
The grand opening ribbon cutting was May 12, 2026 at 11am — right at the Kingsview Market location.
Where Is the Airdrie Fazoli's Located?
Fazoli's is in Kingsview Market — the commercial plaza off Kingsview Boulevard in northwest Airdrie. If you know where the Save-On-Foods is in that area, you're already oriented. It's the same plaza where Osmow's Shawarma recently opened as well.
Kingsview Market serves the northwest corridor of Airdrie — neighbourhoods like Kings Heights and Kingsview, which have seen steady residential growth over the past several years. The commercial side has been slower to develop than the residential side, but that's changing.
Established chains like Fazoli's don't open in markets they don't believe in. The fact that Kingsview Market is attracting recognizable names is a good sign for the people who live in that part of the city.
Why This Matters for Airdrie Residents
More restaurants isn't just a lifestyle bonus — it's part of what makes a neighbourhood complete.
When buyers ask me about living in northwest Airdrie, one of the first topics that comes up is amenities. For a while, the honest answer was that the residential growth had outpaced the commercial development. Families were driving to Calgary or Crossiron for things they couldn't find close to home.
That gap is closing. Osmow's opened at Kingsview Market a few weeks ago. Fazoli's just opened. More is coming.
For people who already own in Kings Heights or Kingsview — this is the kind of development that reinforces the desirability of where you live. For buyers considering those areas, the amenity base is getting harder to argue with.
What to Expect at Fazoli's
Here's a quick rundown of what the Fazoli's menu typically includes:
Pasta dishes — spaghetti, fettuccine Alfredo, and pasta in marinara or meat sauce
Baked pasta — heartier oven-baked options like baked ziti and baked spaghetti
Sandwiches and paninis — if pasta isn't what you're after
Salads and sides — lighter options to round out the meal
Unlimited breadsticks — complimentary, refilled right at your table
It's fast-casual — you order at the counter and the food comes quickly. This is a solid family dinner option for a weeknight, not a sit-down occasion restaurant. That makes it a practical addition to the northwest Airdrie dining scene.
Airdrie's Northwest Corridor Keeps Growing
If you've been paying attention to northwest and west Airdrie over the past few years, you've seen a lot of change. New communities, new schools, new roads — and now, new commercial development starting to match the pace.
The 24th Street SW extension to 40th Avenue is underway, which will improve access through the southwest corridor. Infrastructure like that is what allows commercial investment to follow in adjacent areas.
Kingsview Market is becoming a real anchor for northwest Airdrie residents — and Fazoli's being the third Canadian location of a 200-location US chain is a meaningful vote of confidence in this part of the city.
