Is Jam’s in Airdrie Open for Dinner Now?

Yes — as of April 1, 2026, Jam’s restaurant in Airdrie is open for dinner. The beloved local breakfast spot is adding a Ukrainian dinner menu on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4:00–9:00 p.m. The menu features handmade pierogies (varenyky) and a selection of traditional Ukrainian sides. Breakfast service continues as usual.

If you’ve been to Jam’s for breakfast, you already know the deal.

It’s one of those spots that earns its reputation without making a lot of noise about it — consistently good food, a local atmosphere, and the kind of service that makes you come back. Over 500 Google reviews at 4.4 stars doesn’t happen by accident. That kind of rating is built visit by visit, plate by plate.

Now Jam’s is growing.

What’s New at Jam’s — The Dinner Hours and Menu

Starting April 1st, Jam’s is open for dinner on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This is on top of their regular morning and early afternoon hours — so nothing about breakfast changes. You’re just getting more options now.

The dinner menu is Ukrainian-inspired. Specifically, they’re serving handmade pierogies — the Ukrainian stuffed dumplings you may know as varenyky — along with a curated list of side items. The menu itself is focused rather than sprawling, which in my experience is usually a good sign. Restaurants that try to do too much at dinner often struggle. A shorter, well-executed menu is harder to get wrong.

Pierogies are a genuinely beloved comfort food in Alberta — Ukrainian-Canadian culture has deep roots in this province, and this style of cooking has been part of the local food scene for generations. Seeing a restaurant like Jam’s put their own spin on it for dinner is a nice fit for a community like Airdrie.

Why Airdrie’s Food Scene Keeps Getting Better

This isn’t happening in isolation. Airdrie’s restaurant and café landscape has been steadily improving over the past couple of years — and 2026 is shaping up to be a strong year for it.

Just in recent months: Fresh Slice Pizza is coming to South Point Village, and Ground Press Coffee is opening two new Airdrie locations inside the Inspire facility and Genesis Place. The city is growing, and the businesses are following.

For people weighing a move to Airdrie, “what’s the restaurant situation like?” is one of the first questions I hear. A few years ago, the honest answer required some caveats. Now? Airdrie is genuinely building a food scene worth talking about — and Jam’s expanding into dinner is a meaningful part of that story.

Is Jam’s Dinner Worth Trying?

If you’ve been there for breakfast and enjoyed it, I’d say yes — give the dinner a go.

Restaurants that do one thing really well tend to bring that same attention to whatever they try next. And a Ukrainian dinner menu is specific enough to be interesting without being a stretch for a kitchen that’s already running a strong operation.

If you’ve never been to Jam’s at all, this might actually be the ideal first visit. The dinner hours are more relaxed than the morning rush, and pierogies are a pretty low-risk introduction to a new restaurant.

New hours start April 1, 2026. Wednesdays through Saturdays. 4:00–9:00 p.m.

Let me know in the comments if you’ve been to Jam’s for breakfast, and whether you’re planning to try the dinner menu. I’ll be curious to hear what you think.
