Fresh Slice Pizza Confirmed for South Point Village — Another New Restaurant for Airdrie
Fresh Slice Pizza has been confirmed as one of the tenants at South Point Village, Airdrie's growing commercial development in the south end of the city. The franchise is taking unit 303 in Phase 1 of the shopping area — adding yet another dining option to a retail corridor that is filling up fast.
What Is Fresh Slice?
Fresh Slice is a Canadian pizza franchise with hundreds of locations across Canada and the United States. The chain is known for serving large by-the-slice pizza at accessible price points — popular with a wide range of customers from families to post-game crowds. If you've been to CrossIron Mills or any major Calgary shopping area, you've likely walked past one.
Where in Airdrie?
Fresh Slice will be located in South Point Village, the new commercial development in South Point — one of Airdrie's newest and fastest-growing communities. They're slated for unit 303 in Phase 1 of the commercial area, joining other incoming and established tenants in the development.
Airdrie's Growing Pizza Scene
With Fresh Slice coming online, Airdrie is closing in on roughly two dozen pizza restaurants in the city — an impressive count for a municipality of just under 90,000 people. From national chains to local independents, Airdrie residents clearly have a strong appetite for pizza. Fresh Slice will have to compete in an already well-stocked market, but its by-the-slice model and recognizable brand should help it carve out a niche.
