Is Fazoli's Italian Restaurant open in Airdrie?

Yes — Fazoli's Italian is now open in Kingsview Market in southwest Airdrie, located near the Savon Foods grocery store. It's the chain's third location in Canada and the first in Airdrie, offering fast-casual Italian dining, takeout, and unlimited breadsticks for dine-in guests. Their official grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony took place on May 12, 2026.

Airdrie just added a new dining option in the southwest end of the city — and this one comes with unlimited breadsticks.

Fazoli's Italian has officially opened in Kingsview Market, the newer commercial development anchored by Savon Foods on the southwest side of Airdrie. They were already open and serving customers before the official ribbon cutting, which took place on May 12.

What Is Fazoli's?

If you've never heard of Fazoli's, you're not alone — it's been a well-established US chain for years, with nearly 200 locations across the States, but Canadian locations have been rare. This Airdrie location is only their third in Canada, joining two others in Calgary and Okotoks.

The concept is fast-casual Italian — you order at the counter, and the food comes to you. Think pasta dishes, baked pasta, sandwiches, and pizza, served at fast-food speed in a sit-down setting. It sits in that sweet spot between a quick fast food run and a full sit-down restaurant experience.

For families in southwest Airdrie looking for a quick weeknight dinner that's a step up from a drive-through, this could be a go-to. Watch Brad mention the unlimited breadsticks at 0:34 — which might honestly be the feature that gets most people through the door.

What's on the Menu?

Fazoli's menu is built around fast-casual Italian comfort food. Here's what you can generally expect from their locations:

  • Unlimited breadsticks — free refills for dine-in guests (this is a signature feature of the chain)

  • Pasta dishes — classics like spaghetti with meat sauce, fettuccine alfredo, baked ziti

  • Baked pasta combos

  • Italian-style sandwiches and submarinos

  • Pizza

  • Kids' menu options

  • Dine-in and takeout both available

The pricing is in line with fast-casual dining — a step up from fast food but well below what you'd pay at a full-service Italian restaurant. Good for families, good for quick weeknight meals, and genuinely hard to beat on value if the breadsticks are as good as the chain's reputation suggests.

Where Exactly Is It in Kingsview Market?

Kingsview Market is the commercial strip in southwest Airdrie anchored by Savon Foods. It's been steadily filling in over the past couple of years as the surrounding residential neighbourhoods — Kingsview, Kings Heights, Williamstown — have grown.

Fazoli's is one of the newer additions to that strip, and as Brad mentioned in the video, there's still one more business coming to the remaining unit in that strip mall. We'll be keeping tabs on that one and will share news when it's confirmed. Watch Brad mention the final unit at 0:43.

If you've been watching this part of the city build out its commercial core, it's getting close to fully filled in — which is a good sign for the neighbourhood.

On that note — Kingsview Market has been getting some solid additions lately. If you missed it, Osmow's Shawarma also recently opened in Kingsview Market, bringing Lebanese-style fast-casual dining to the same development.

Why This Matters If You're Watching Airdrie Real Estate

Here's the thing about amenities — they matter more than most buyers initially realize.

When the southwest end of Airdrie started growing with new subdivisions and infill phases a few years back, one of the common hesitations from buyers was: there's not much out there yet. That's been changing steadily, and additions like Fazoli's are part of that story.

More dining options, more services, and a more developed commercial corridor make neighbourhoods like Kingsview and Kings Heights more liveable day-to-day — and that directly supports long-term property values in those areas.

Have You Tried It Yet?

If you've already been to Fazoli's — whether here in Airdrie or at one of the Calgary or Okotoks locations — drop a comment and let the community know how it was. Honest takes from locals are always more useful than marketing materials.

And if you're new to Airdrie or thinking about making the move, this is a good example of how quickly this city is developing its local amenities. The quality-of-life picture here keeps improving.
