Airdrie just got a lot more interesting on the food scene.
A brand new Mexican and Latin food market — La Costeñita — quietly opened its doors earlier this month in the Sierra Springs area, and if you haven't heard about it yet, you're going to want to.
Brad spotted it and put out a quick Short to let the community know. Here's what you need to know.
Where Is La Costeñita in Airdrie?
The market is located at 109 – 2966 Main St S in the Sierra Springs Shopping area — right across from Airdrie Honda in the south part of the city.
If you're coming from the north end of Airdrie, it's an easy drive down Main St. If you're near Genesis Place or the east side, hop onto Veterans Blvd and cut south — you'll be there in minutes.
The Sierra Springs strip has been filling up steadily. HomeSense is also opening in Sierra Springs on October 13, 2026 — so the whole area is becoming a real destination for south Airdrie residents.
