How Does the Rollout Work?
The city is delivering bins neighborhood by neighborhood. The specific order hasn't been publicly announced, but once your black bin arrives, you can start using it right away. Your neighborhood will switch to automated collection as soon as the bins are in place. The old manual bag system will continue running in parallel until all deliveries are complete on April 3rd, then full automation kicks in by April 6th.
